Please make yourselves heard

A very knowledgable friend of mine yesterday offered me his opinion stating that "Dravid and Sehwag are not our saviours"

Now I do not believe in the concept of majority opinion being right. In fact I believe it is always a thoughtful minority that can do anything constructive, but just out of curiosity I would like all my readers to state their opinion on the above claim.

In one word please - True or False.

Thank You.

Thanks for considering me as "a very knowledgable friend".
Anyways, i too dont believe in the concept of majority opinion being right. I too believe it is always a thoughtful minority that can do anything constructive.
So lets not seek other opinions at all. Lets keep this a debate between just two of us. I have given facts and logical arguments to prove my point. And I have challenged you to prove your point using facts and logical arguments only, not by seeking opinions.
So when are you (finally) going to give "reasonable" arguments?
And I still repeat myself, Dravid and Sehwag are not our saviors in ODIs. What they managed in the absence of SRT is explained in detail in my comment on ur previous post. (And whatever they managed does not add up to the act of a savior at all, AAMOF)

Instead of seeking opinions, why don't you just justify the "savior" tag? (If they are really saviors) that would be easier I guess

In the last one dayer, Dravid and Sehwag were undoubtedly the "saviours"...but speaking in general terms, I would hesitate to call Sehwag a savior..you never look at sehwag as someone who can stay at the crease when we are down...on his day he's unstoppable...thats it...Dravid is far more promising in this respect...but generally he needs someone else to build a parternership...someone who can take the onus of shot-making like sehwag, SRT, ganguly, azher etc.

sorry...in the required format,
Dravid = True
Sehwag = False
Dravid and Sehwag = False
