What !! Pakistan have declared !! Inzy after getting a hundred. This is really really sporting at the same time really shocking. It leaves England in with a chance. Knowing this English team, they will definitely go for it. And they will always have the draw option to fall back upon if things don't go their way. Plus, they will always have the benefit of bad light. If they feel they stand a chance of losing, they will take it. If they feel they are winning they will choose to play on in the dark as happened in Karachi. Really, this is an EXTREMELY strange and perhaps overambitious decision by Inzy. After all, draw this Test and the series cannot be lost. There have been very few moments in this Test at which point England looked likely to dominate. If it were up to me, I'd take the draw and back my boys to win the series in Lahore. Be it 1-0 or 2-0. As is stands, in this particular test, a draw is still the favorite but Inzy has brought the other options into play with his declaration !!!
Update: Just as I finish posting, Akhtar strikes in his very first over !! Trescothick, who could have been a key player in the chase is clean bowled. Boy, this is going to get exciting !! It's Pakistan on the attack straightaway. Will England counter attack ?
Update: England reeling at 32/4. Now I guess the draw is out of the picture. With Freddie and KP at the crease it is DO or DIE !!

I was a nervous wreck at work today as the wickets tumbled and am very relieved that England managed to come away with a draw.
Any theories as to why Vaughan decided not to take the new ball? Inzamam-ul-Haq was well set but the tail-enders would have found it much harder to keep out a new ball attack.
